微軟公司11日宣布，全球線上零售業(yè)龍頭亞馬遜網(wǎng)站(Amazon.com)采用內(nèi)建於Windows Server 2003中的Windows Media Services 9 Series技術(shù)，讓消費(fèi)者得以即時(shí)試聽亞馬遜網(wǎng)站音樂試聽庫里的所有歌曲。

微軟表示，新版Windows Server 2003中的即時(shí)高速串流錄放技術(shù)，為Windows Media Player 9 Series使用者提供了虛擬的播放技術(shù)，此外，數(shù)位媒體服務(wù)公司Loudeye亦協(xié)助部署此項(xiàng)技術(shù)，讓消費(fèi)者除了能在亞馬遜網(wǎng)站享受這項(xiàng)服務(wù)之外，同時(shí)也能在Borders.com、CDNOW.com與VirginMega.com等網(wǎng)站上享有此項(xiàng)新增的服務(wù)。

微軟指出，全新的Windows Media 9為數(shù)位媒體提供下一波的動(dòng)力，它擁有傳送更隹的播放技術(shù)與影音品質(zhì)、整合的選擇性數(shù)位版權(quán)管理技術(shù)，也能開發(fā)數(shù)位媒體產(chǎn)品及服務(wù)。Windows Media平臺包括Windows Media Player、 傳送檔案的串流伺服器Windows Media Services、建立內(nèi)容的Windows Media Encoder、提供視聽效果的Windows Media Audio and Video、為保護(hù)內(nèi)容著作的Windows Media DRM及專為軟體開發(fā)者設(shè)計(jì)的the Windows Media Software Development Kit 。
